This podcast is the first of a series discussing some of the key tech concepts you need to be an effective software product manager, even if you aren’t technical.
I briefly cover all the different types of skills and characteristics product managers need to have (technical skills is just one of these, an equal among the others). I then list a bunch of technical concepts you should know. Then I go deep into three specific technical concepts that I remember having to learn myself:
- The repository
- The stack
- Metadata
In future podcasts I’ll cover more of the important technical concepts – from the product manager view.
